Code of Practice for the Care and Handling of Pigs

The Codes of Practice are nationally developed guidelines for the care and handling of the different species of farm animals. The Codes contain recommendations for housing and management practices for farm animals as well as transportation and processing. Animal Mortality Procedures

Even the best livestock producers will have losses between two and three per cent, but higher rates can occur.
